Avianca personal item size should be less that it must fit under the seat in front of you, and it should not exceed the following dimensions: 16 x 12 x 6 inches (40 x 30 x 15 cm).
Examples of personal items include a purse, a laptop bag, a small backpack, or a camera bag. It's worth noting that if your personal item is larger than the allowed size, Avianca may require you to check it in as a carry-on bag or pay an extra fee.
