Looking for help choosing a living room layout
a couple things to note:
- that is the front door there on the long wall, with an adjecent closet. the closet actually takes up that whole wall, just wasnt an option in the planning app.
- that door is on the side of the house, and the three windows to the left face the street
- the poorly drawn arrows are supposed to represent our opening to the kitchen

Recently remodeled our home and I’m having a tough time deciding on chairs for our dining room! Two little boys so fabric, as much as I would love it, is pretty much out. Pic of our dining room, recently painted board and batten in newburg green. Due to the shape of the room, I’d like to go with a round dining room table as shown in the last picture but need help with chairs. I would love some like the picture but would need a leather option. General Community / Retrofit a skylight into existing roof

We are in desperate need of light in our main room. Due to a porch on the front and a sunroom in the back, all the windows are covered. A skylight would solve all our woes. But they have such a stigma for being a leaky nightmare. I have heard it's not a problem if you are replacing the roof, but our roof is only 5 years old. Is it possible to have one installed into an existing roof and not have issues? If so, has anyone have experience with Velux "no leak skylight" actually being superior?รูเล็ตฝากถอนไม่มีขั้นต่ำ

Hi - I have an awkward family room space that I really need help designing/furnishing. The room has three walls - one is broken up by a bedroom door; one is full brick fireplace wall, and the other one is all windows and patio door. Trying to figure out how to set up modern but comfy seating where we can hang out with guests but also include a tv. I don't think putting the TV on the fireplace wall is an option - it will be costly and a pain with the brick and the vents and the mantle. Please see attached dimensions. I also included an old pic of the room - those sofas will be replaced and the whole room has wood floors now. Currently thinking of putting a tv on wall "B" with a sofa across from it and then maybe a separate conversation area in front of fireplace with two chairs and a table? Hi all, I want to add a runner to my staircase, they are steep and slip hazard, generally uncomfortable to climb. I am wondering about fabrice (wool vs nylon vs polyester) and pattern (plain vs patterned/colorful) We generally would like some color, but i am concerned with lining the pattern up and if it would look too much. Hello Houzzers! Would love some help selecting tile for the shower to go with our polished concrete floor in the bathroom. Going for a very architectural modern minimalist aesthetic that is timeless & will stand the test of time. We have hard water and had our walk-in shower retiled because the pan was leaking after 25 years. Now we have to decide on the glass and it seems there are old posts that rave about a glass with a manufactured-in substance called shower guard. There are also posts saying it’s a waste of money. Our installer says plain tempered 3/8 glass is the way to go. The door is going to be a swing 26” wide. Realistically my husband will not squeegee after showering. I want to preface this by saying that I know the “rules” around shutters and that aesthetically, most houses should not have them. I own a 1970’s colonial style house. Thank you in advance for any help and advice you can offer. I am updating the look of my front porch and cannot decide what to do. Composite tiling, concrete resurfacing, stamped concrete, etc. I am going for more of a "cottage vibe" I have attached a few photos to give the overall feel of the front. Of note there are beautiful Japanese maples on either side, not mulch, new river rock. HELP please, thank you very much!
