The Green Bay Packers traded up in the third round during Friday’s NFL Draft and selected Clemson slot wide receiver Amari Rodgers. The question is will he ever be paired with disgruntled quarterback Aaron Rodgers. To buy more Packers Youth Game with cheap price, you can visit packernfl.com official website.

Green Bay gave up its third round pick and one of its fourth rounders in a trade with Tennessee to move up and select Rodgers. The Packers have always had an affinity for bigger receivers and had an unwritten rule that they wouldn't draft a receiver under 5-foot-10. But the 5-9 ½”, 212-pound Rodgers was potentially too dynamic to pass up.

“He’s short but he’s not small,” Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said. “You know, he’s 212 pounds. When you see him, when you get up on him, he’s not a small man. He’s just not tall.

“So, I do think he’s a little different maybe than some of the other slot guys you see across the league because he’s just built a little bit more like a running back. So, he gave me great comfort because I think one of the things he does and I think you have to do in this league is you can’t run by everybody in this league, You’ve got to be able to take contact on and break tackles and he’s certainly one of the kind of guys that can do that.”Rodgers caught 77 passes for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns in 2020. Rodgers finished his Clemson career with 181 receptions for 2,144 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Rodgers ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds and recorded a 33-1/2” vertical jump. He also becomes the highest-drafted wide receiver by the Packers since they took Davante Adams in the second round in 2014.

“The Packers are getting a true professional,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said. “He is the ultimate pro. This kid has handled himself like a pro since I met him, and I mean in every aspect of his life. He is incredibly committed to excellence in every area: academics, his relationships, how he deals with media, how he responds to adversity, you name it. He is the same guy every day.“He has an incredible mind to him. He has an incredible mental toughness and grit, and then he is just highly skilled. He brings a ton of experience. He has played a ton of football. He has incredible special teams value. He can do a lot of things there. He played his first two years on the outside, he played his last two years in the slot.

“He is crafty. He is a technician at his position, and he is a guy that’s going to be ready day one since he can play multiple positions and is incredibly smart. Again, he is built like a running back, but he has the length of a 6-foot-3 wideout and plays long. He is a tough yards-after-the-catch guy and I think is one of those guys that, like I said, is a true pro and will be a leader from the moment he gets there.”

The Green Bay Packers won’t be playing in Week 5. A well-deserved bye week will give the Packers a chance to rejuvenate after an impressive 4-0 start. Fueled by an explosive offense and opportunistic defense, Green Bay has all the right pieces to be a Super Bowl contender in 2020.To buy more Packers Men Elite with cheap price, you can visit packernfl.com official website.

It all starts with Aaron Rodgers. After posting lackluster numbers the last three seasons – at least, by his standards – Rodgers is reminding the league this season why he’s a shoo-in first-ballot Hall of Famer. Now 36 years old, Rodgers is arguably playing the best football of his career this season.

It’s clear that Rodgers is much more comfortable in coach Matt LaFleur’s offense. Now in Year 2 of LaFleur’s scheme, Rodgers has fully bought in. He’s throwing in rhythm and staying within the structure of the offense. The days of watching Rodgers extend plays just for the sake of it may be over.

Rodgers’ return to form this season is one of the biggest reasons the Packers are the team to beat in the NFC. He’s playing at an MVP level which makes Green Bay an automatic Super Bowl contender. Through four games, Rodgers is completing 70.5 percent of his passes and has thrown for 1,214 yards, 13 touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

We have to give credit to LaFleur, too. Rodgers is a huge reason for Green Bay’s early success, but the Packers’ head coach has been arguably more influential. LaFleur is tied for the second-best coaching record through 20 games (17-3) in NFL history, only behind George Seifert (18-2).LaFleur’s scheme is a perfect fit for both Rodgers and the offensive personnel currently on the Packers’ roster. Tight end Robert Tonyan, who’s reeled in five touchdowns this season, is in the midst of a breakout campaign. Receiver Allen Lazard was having a terrific start before he suffered a groin injury. Running back Aaron Jones could lead the NFL in touchdowns based on his current pace (just like last season).

The Packers offense has been the most explosive unit in the NFL. They currently rank first in points per game (38.0), yards per play (6.8), and average time of possession (34:20), and rank second in total yards (1,782). Perhaps most importantly, Green Bay has yet to turn the ball over. The Packers’ 152 points scored is the most in team history through four games.

On the flip side, the Packers defense is playing complementary football. Mike Pettine’s defense employs a bend-but-don’t-break strategy, which has worked so far. The Packers are allowing 25.2 points per game (18th), 352.2 yards per game (12th), and 6.1 yards per play (6.2).

Pettine doesn’t care how many yards the defense gives up between the 20s, so long as they’re able to keep opposing offenses out of the end zone. So far, it’s been a formula for success. The Packers are an opportunistic defense, which has kept opponents in check. In each game so far, the defense has had a crucial stop or takeaway.

The New York Giants are picking up some support for Suquon Barkley and company in the backfield. To get more New York Giants jerseys with cheap price, you can visit giantsnfl.com official website.

Andrew Thomas, an offensive tackle from the University of Georgia, was made the official No. 4 overall pick by the New York Giants in the NFL Draft on Thursday.Thomas, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman posted a 5.22 40-yard dash with a 30.5-inch vertical, which are both solid numbers for an offensive tackle.

Thomas spoke with the New York Daily News before the draft and said that he would be looking forward to the chance to play in New York.

“I think it would be a great honor,” Thomas said to the Daily News. “New York is a great city. I’ve been up there a few times to visit Roc Nation. I know they have great fan bases. But I’ll be excited to play for whatever team drafts me.”

Thomas would be an immediate help for the Giants, who are looking to shore up their offensive line in front of quarterback Daniel Jones and Barkley. Thanks for visiting PennLive. Second-year quarterback Daniel Jones is in what some people might consider a tough position. The 2019 first-round pick is replacing New York Giants legend Eli Manning, who retired after the conclusion of last season. Jones also has a new head coach and offensive coordinator in Joe Judge and Jason Garrett, respectively. To get more Giants game jersey with cheap price, you can visit giantsnfl.com official website.

Despite the pressure and the changes to the coaching staff, though, there should be high expectations for Jones in his first full season at the helm of the Giants offense.

Perhaps the biggest reason for that optimism, outside of Jones’ talent, is the arrival of Garrett, the former Dallas Cowboys head coach. A former quarterback himself, he was one of the best available offensive coaches in terms of what he could potentially add to Jones’ development. He has the moxie to help mold Jones into the franchise quarterback fans are hoping he can be.
Garrett will be able to help Jones not only with his effectiveness in the passing attack but also the run game as well. The young signal-caller has some solid receivers at his disposal, including veterans Golden Tate and Sterling Sheperd and fellow second-year player Darius Slayton.

As a rookie, Jones showed some nice things after he took the starting job from Manning. He finished the year with 3,027 yards passing with 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions alongside a 61.9 percent completion rate and a quarterback rating of 87.7.With Garrett’s arrival and the experience garnered as a rookie, those numbers should only improve. The hope is that Garrett will help Jones better utilize his weapons, specifically running back Saquon Barkley both as a pass-catcher out of the backfield and establishing the run.

Meanwhile, Jones will also benefit from veteran Colt McCoy being signed this offseason, giving the youngster a solid mentor in the quarterback room. That’s another aspect that could help the Duke product develop in his second season.

The Chicago Bears surprised a group of Advocate Good Samaritan nurses with a gift and message of gratitude. To get more news about chicago bears Men Elite jerseys, you can visit bearsbuy official website.

Team members were inspired by how more than 30 nurses and nursing assistants went out of their way while caring for a couple battling COVID-19 together at the hospital in November. Nurses were able to make sure the couple, married for 76 years, could be side-by-side in the hospital during their final moment together. The husband succumbed to the virus, while his wife has recovered.

Staley Da Bear delivered gift bags and a personalized video message from Bears players, as well as a framed, signed Khalil Mack jersey to hang in their unit. Mack wears number 52, the same number as the unit that cared for the couple."We're here today to tell you how inspired we are by all of you," Cole Kmet told the health care heroes in the video message.

The NFL, for the longest time, has had strict rules regarding jersey numbers. Single digits were reserved for quarterbacks and kickers/punters only. It had been a rather boring restriction, but it’s a rule that will no longer be enforced. As the 2021 season approaches, we have to wonder which Chicago Bears players might make the switch. Could we see Roquan Smith or Eddie Jackson in a single-digit uniform? Let’s take a look at the three players most likely to make the switch. To get more news about chicago bears Womens jerseys, you can visit bearsbuy official website.

The proposal was submitted by the Kansas City Chiefs. It will allow certain skill position players (RB, TE, WR, LB, and DB) to wear a single-digit jersey number. This proposal was motivated a bit by teams lacking numbers for skill positions due to the number of retired numbers for certain franchises.

Not everyone is excited by the new rule. Apparently, Tom Brady finds the new rule to be dumb and for some strange reason believes it will lead to a lot of bad football. He made comments about how he believes players will struggle to identify who to block and more. If you ask me, Tom Brady sounds like an old man yelling at kids to get off his lawn.
For the Chicago Bears, it allows an opportunity for some of their players to see a number switch. Some guys may resort back to their college numbers, while others may just take advantage of the freedom to be able to select a single-digit jersey number.

Allen Robinson wore No. 8 during his collegiate career but has made it clear via Twitter what number he wants. For the number one receiver, he deserves the number one jersey number. AR1 has a real nice ring to it.

Roquan Smith also wore No. 8 during his college career while at Georgia, and it would be awesome to see the anchor of this defense rep that number again. He tied the number eight in as best he could with 58, so it is likely he’ll want to make the switch to just the No. 8. Smith has earned the right to rock his collegiate number again, and it would be awesome seeing a linebacker for the Chicago Bears run around with a single digit.

Eddie Jackson rocked the No. 4 on his chest when he flew around at Alabama. It would be great to see him throw the number back on; maybe that’s what he needs to return to his ball-hawking, 2018 All-Pro glory.

It would be cool to also see fellow receiver Darnell Mooney wear No. 3, which is what he wore at Tulane. Unfortunately, that number is retired, and for good reason. Bronco Nagurski wore that number while dominating during his time with the Chicago Bears.
